About us
Diwomen is a spin off of the Diwan Awards which promotes each year the Belgian Moroccan community in Belgium. Over the years, we discovered the tremendous positive energy, goodwill, and commitment among talented women. So, we created a network exclusively dedicated to us.
Diwomen brings together women from around the world. It’s a network by women for women who share their love for Morocco as their common background. A platform where we connect, share our common know-how, bridge with other networks, help girls and women reach their goals, and of course, create unique events in outstanding places.
We aim to strengthen our ties and implement tools to inspire our daughters, the new generation. They see us, and in doing so, it’s our future looking at us. Let’s pass on our collective intelligence and our desire for the future with determination. We all know that extraordinary things happen when women come together, moments of elegance, inspirational stories and sisterhood.
Founders
Fatima Abbach
Fatima Abbach has been a member of the King Baudouin Foundation for over 20 years. Twelve years ago she founded the Diwan Awards and as the female part continued to grow, she launched the Diwomen Network as a spin off of the Diwan Awards.
Fatima Sebbar
Fatima Sebbar is co-founder of Diwomen, an international network of Moroccan women active in various fields. Passionate about authenticity and people, she created a travel agency dedicated to sustainable tourism in the south of Morocco. With a wealth of experience as an HR Manager in an IT consultancy company and a Sales Manager in the retail sector, Fatima stands out for her collaborative approach and her commitment to operational excellence.
